(Project) Swapping to Flats

I'm slightly disappointed at my inability to stick to project lists.
None the less, I'm excited by the fact I've learned some new tricks.

Thanks to a fantastic tutorial by Kielen at GoS (here)
I can now edit meshes to change shoes. YAY.

I took two edited Maxis meshes and swapped the shoes with Amaryll's flats.
Yes, those shoes are on almost every mesh, but I adore them.

First up is Amaryll's edited H&M Perdita Dress.

And the second being Ndainye's edit of the FT Boho outfit.
(Find that version, with sandals, here).



I've yet to decide if I'll upload them, since they've probably been done before.
But I just wanted to share my little success.

Congrats on the new skill! I don't think i've seen either of those dresses with flats, so i personally would appreciate it tons if you shared :) And i'm sure i won't be the only one.

Well, I guess if there's some interest in them I can upload them. I actually didn't think anyone would want another outfit with flats, lol.

Then again, I'm sure I'm not the only one obsessed with those shoes.

Haha, i actually hate flats in real life, but i LOVE them in the game. Especially Amarylll's. And i've always loved that first dress, but the Maxis shoes were awful and the only other version of i've seen is with boots. That dress gives off such a comfy vibe that flats seem perfect for it.

Yeah, I'm exactly the same. There are quite a few things that I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that I'll quite happily put on my sims.

I'll probably have these up in the next few days. I just need to take some more preview shots.
